Pets are sensitive to changes in their routines and environment. Having a professional pet sitter in your home is changing one variable (the care provider) while all others remain the same. Having an in-home pet sitter is great for pets who experience stress at kennels or in the car.
Keeping your pet in their environment enables exercise and diet routines to be kept and keeps the pet in a familiar environment to minimize stress. With a professional sitter, you can expect your pet to be cared for in the exact way you are requesting.
In my business, establishing a relationship and open communication with pet parents is as important as creating a trusting and loving relationship with the pet.

This enables me to meet the pets in the comfort of their own home, with their family present. I am then able to create a custom care plan with the owners that is best suited for each pet.
These custom care plans may include things like feeding times, special routines or outside activities. Each client receives updates along with pictures of their pets while they are away.
This can help parents feel at ease that their pet is being well cared for. I treat every pet like they are my own and have customized my business to cater to pets the way I would want mine cared for while I am away.

Pet sitting has been a hobby of mine for several years now and animals have always interested me.
Volunteering at a Winnipeg cat shelter grew my appreciation for animals even more!
It prompted me to take a veterinary assisting course which was so much fun. Out of school I got a job with my friend at a dog daycare/grooming facility as a dog bather and eventually I became a doggy daycare attendant.
Over the years I've cared for pets of all ages and a diverse group of personalities.
When I moved to Dauphin, I decided to slowly start my pet sitting business while also working at the local vet clinic as a vet assistant.
In April of 2022, I decided to take on professional pet sitting fulltime to better be able to help my clients and accommodate requests that I could not fulfill because of my work schedule.
Since April, I have met so many new fur friends!
